Are mothers obligated to spend mother’s day with their kids?
Anna booked a hotel for herself the night before mother’s day. Then plans on spending Mother’s Day doing what she wants; shopping, eating, maybe a spa. Her husband, Tom, has an issue with it. What do you say? Here are the comments from Facebook:
How dare she not be with her kids:
Linda: “You only get so many Mother’s Days when your kids are young. You’ll regret choosing shopping over making memories.”
Tammy: “If you need a break from your kids on the one day meant to celebrate them loving you, maybe you weren’t ready to be a mom.”
Brittany: “If you want alone time, pick literally any other day. Mother’s Day is for family.”
Mom can do whatever she wants!
Erica: “Mother’s Day is about celebrating moms, not exhausting them. She deserves a day to recharge however she wants!”
John: “Honestly? Best Mother’s Day plan I’ve ever heard. Happy mom = happy family.”
Amanda: “Taking care of yourself IS taking care of your family. Let her live!”
