A little fun… a few chores… and dogs. There will always be dog photos. Here’s my weekend in five pics:

I splurged on a new camera last week! Paid for mostly with fantasy football winnings, I bought a slightly used Nikon D750. So, this weekend, I spent some time setting it up the way I like, turning on back-button focus, assigning tasks to the programmable buttons, etc. Here’s my very first test shot.

This is one of my dogs, Dexter (Biscuit’s kinda camera shy). We’re in the truck, in the parking lot of Bloedel Donovan park here. He really wants to get out and play but I have a new camera and he’s gonna have to pose for a few minutes first while I play with it. He’s a good boy.

Saturday, Lynne and I went to the Seattle Dragons game – the first XFL game at CenturyLink Field! We had a blast! Okay, the football is sub-par, but the event is fun and the Dragons won, so, go team! We wanted to buy some Dragons gear but the merch line was halfway around the stadium! Couldn’t bring the fancy camera so we’re back to the cell phone.

Sunday was all about home projects. When Lynne gets into cleaning mode, she takes it seriously! Yes, that’s a vacuum attachment tool belt. If only it had a holder for her wine glass!

I’m trying to eat healthier lately and that includes waking up a little earlier and cooking a decent breakfast. This was this morning’s creation: scrambled eggs, onions, zucchini, red and green peppers, swiss cheese and a little rosemary and pepper. Yum.
