The never-ending basement remodel, the Home Show, an old friend, and some new friends. It was a busy weekend!
That’s a genuine N95 face mask but no, I don’t have coronavirus. And I’ve had the mask since long before that became a thing. Saturday, the never-ending basement remodel continued with the last of the wall sanding and texturing. Now we just have to finish the last of the painting and it’s on to the floors!
Sunday morning, I got up to go to the bathroom and came back to bed to find Biscuit and Nacho keeping the bed warm for me. I can’t get up for two minutes!
I spent the middle of the day Sunday at the Home Show in Lynden. Thanks to all the people who came by and said hi!
Facebook has a way of connecting us with old friends. I haven’t seen Ron Nelson since he owned the Blue Max Restaurant and Bar out at the airport waaaayyyy back in the day. But he messaged me that he was coming through town so we met up at Starbucks so we could bore the rest of his family with our old stories of glory.
Sunday night I checked out an “open shoot” for photographers at a dance studio downtown. I’ve been dabbling in photography but haven’t done much studio work so I thought this would be a good chance to learn some things. Other photogs brought lights and several volunteers modeled. This isn’t me in the dark in this photo but I took the picture. It was a fun night and I met some cool people!
Thanks for checking out my weekend! Now… back to work!
