Okay, this was one of those weekends that makes me think I need a more interesting life. But here goes.
My mom’s 13-year-old analog cable box for the little TV in her knitting room died. So we went to the Xfinity store to get a new one. I thought we’d wait forever on a Saturday but we were in and out with a new box in 10 minutes! Then we went home and got it all hooked up. And I didn’t take a picture of any of it. I did, however, get this shot of my mom’s dog, Jackson. He’s cuter than me hooking up a cable box anyway.
Lynne went off for a girls’ weekend with her sisters. They decided they’d all do mud facials and they got a bit creative with the application. This is the pic her sister sent me. Now I know what my wife would look like with a beard. So, there’s that.
On Sunday, Sebastian invited friends over to watch Studio Ghibli movies. Yeah, I didn’t know what that was either but they were all very excited about it. They watched for many, many hours, even though our TV is clearly way too small.
Sebastian made wings for his guests. He likes to cook for people. But he apparently doesn’t like the flash on my phone. I’d tell you if the wings were good but there weren’t any left. I’m sure they were. He’s pretty good at this.
I took the dogs to Whatcom Falls Park both days but failed to take any pics. So, here they are being patient for some chicken jerky. My photo didn’t capture the pool of drool Dexter left on the floor. By the way, every week, unless I’m out of town or something, my 5 pics will always include the dogs. That’s how I roll.
Okay, I’m making it a goal to make next weekend more interesting. Thanks for looking!
