I spent a good portion of the weekend traveling with my friend, Allan, on our way to and from a benefit auction in Yakima. Here’s how it went:
Allan and I drove over together where we met up with the auction crew (Thank you, Allan, for volunteering for this adventure!). Saturday was a nice day to head over the pass.
I emceed the auction Saturday night for a local Yakima school raising money for scholarships. It was a big night in the nicely decorated school gym!
The pass wasn’t nearly as clear on the way home Sunday, so we detoured to the south and had a day full of adventures. We had to stop quick in Portland to see the Weird sign!
We also searched out the famed “Zoobomb Stack of Bikes.” I ain’t gonna lie. It was much less impressive than we’d heard.
Finally, I got back home in time to celebrate our good girl, Biscuit, who turned 10 on Sunday. She spent most of her birthday relaxing on the furniture. Sometimes, birthdays are hard when you get older.
