This job definitely has its perks!

As you may know, I’m training to ride the Seattle to Portland Bike Ride in July, along with Tessa from our sister-station, KPUG.

Kona Bikes, based in Bellingham, has offered to let both of us train on and ride their brand new all-purpose bike, the Kona Rove NRB DL!

This bike is designed to be comfortable on long rides, and to ride well on pavement, dirt, or gravel. We’ve put a few miles on them now and they’re great bikes!

It’s always more fun to ride with friends. But this weekend I was on my own, so I thought I’d try to take you along. With help from my phone camera, of course.
