Vacation is right around the corner for many people. The average price of a hotel stay has jumped up again this summer. Often times you don’t even know about the extra fees you are being charged. Did you know many hotels are now charging a delivery fee for the newspaper outside the door? There are certain fees that you can avoid. For example, the average charge for in room WiFi is almost $14 a day. Instead, walk across the street and for a cup of coffee, you can use their free Internet service. And, before you tip anyone at a hotel, ask if the tip is already included. Many hotels are now including housekeeping gratuity fees on the bill just like a cruise does.
