Be careful with coupons! When you’re trying to save money, of course you should use them—but only to save money on things you are already purchasing and NOT as a reason or excuse to buy new things.  When you think about it, coupons are essentially a hand-held advertisement for a product that you can get at a discount. But if you have a tight budget, how are you saving money if you buy something you wouldn’t normally get just to use that coupon? I’m all about using coupons and discount codes, but you’re only truly saving if you’re using them for stuff you already buy.
