Head down to Squalicum Harbor and follow the signs to the market where fishermen await with their product! We set up outside at Gate 5 from June through October and inside the Fishermen’s Pavilion (2599 S. Harbor Loop Drive) from November through May.
Pick your seafood, pay the fishermen directly, and head home with your delicious catch.

Mount Vernon Parks & Rec are hosting a Sensory Indoor Recess on Fridays from 2:00pm-4:00pm at Hillcrest Park in Mount Vernon.
This is a space designed for children and families that will benefit from a calmer environment. There will be hands-on toys, sensory tools, books, arts and crafts, and more. Kids will be welcome to explore these at their own pace.
The space is full enclosed, making it easier for caregivers of kids who tend to wander.

Local flight instructor, Mike Dyberg of Dyberg Aviation, will be at the Children’s Museum of Skagit County with an aviation-themed pop up to teach kids (small AND big) about flying!
He’ll be hosting these pop-ups on the 3rd Friday of each month.
