The Port of Bellingham hosts its Dockside Market on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month from 10am-2pm.  This is an opportunity for you to shop directly from fishermen for the freshest catch available!

Check the Bellingham Dockside Market Facebook page, Instagram, or newsletter prior to sale days to see which fishermen will be at the dock and what products will be available.

Head down to Squalicum Harbor and follow the signs to the market where fishermen await with their product! We set up outside at Gate 5 from June through October and inside the Fishermen’s Pavilion (2599 S. Harbor Loop Drive) from November through May.

Pick your seafood, pay the fishermen directly, and head home with your delicious catch.

We’re bringing you the best of our waterfront town: the Bellingham Dockside Market, an authentic connection to our local waters!

Just come in, grab a book, grab a pooch, and grab a spot of sun.  Dogs LOVE to hear you read to them.

Admission is FREE!  The program happens every third Saturday of the month at Village Books in Lynden!

Dancing Dana Carr, LLC, invites you to a Sunset Silent Disco on Saturday, January 17th from 4:00pm-5:30pm at the Squalicum Boathouse in Bellingham.

Move to the music with your friends in the fresh air and enjoy the ocean view as you watch the sun set.  They’ll broadcast a diverse playlist on a radio transmitter that can be picked up on headphones.  Headphones will be available on a first come, first served basis.

This event is FREE and open to all ages, shapes, sizes, colors, genders, abilities, sexual identities, etc.  Wear comfy clothes and footwear.  FREE Parking is adjacent to the park.

Bellingham Parks & Rec will have the lights on at Civic Field EVERY WEDNESDAY from 5:30pm-7:30pm through February 25th!

You can drop in and complete your workout during the darkest months of the year.  No preregistration required.  No fee.  Just some good exercise to keep your body moving!

Mount Vernon Parks & Rec are hosting a Sensory Indoor Recess on Fridays from 2:00pm-4:00pm at Hillcrest Park in Mount Vernon.

This is a space designed for children and families that will benefit from a calmer environment.  There will be hands-on toys, sensory tools, books, arts and crafts, and more.  Kids will be welcome to explore these at their own pace.

The space is full enclosed, making it easier for caregivers of kids who tend to wander.

Skagit Runners presents the 2nd Annual Get Outside Fun Run 5K on Saturday, January 24th at 9:30am at True North Bakery in Burlington!

Start the new year walking or running this course that begins and ends at True North Bakery.  The course will take you along the scenic Port of Skagit Trails.

Race Fee is $30 in advance, $40 day of the race.  Proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County and their youth programs that promote confidence, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles throughout the community.
