Head to Camp Casey on September 16th-17th for the Whidbey Island Kite Festival–a fun family event with lots of kites in the air! There will be kite flying demos by individuals, pairs and teams, mass ascensions, kids kite-making, a Teddy bear drop, ‘learn to fly a kite’ lessons, kite competitions and lots of kite flying of all kinds. Saturday night at the Coupeville High School Gymnasium is the indoor kite competition. See how kites are flown indoors…..with no fans! Food vendors. Free admission. Admission is free. Parking is $1 donation for the Boys & Girls Club
