The Whatcom Million Trees Project invites you to be part of the Whatcom Tree Festival September 5th-7th!
This exciting weekend is full of events to connect with our wellness, the trees in our urban forests, and discover new ways to appreciate them and their health. You’ll find work parties, yoga workshops, arts & crafts, a cycling ride, and more.

Crooked Spoon Ice Cream will donate $1 for every single scoop sold.

12:00pm-1:00pm – TreeRX Circuit with Kristy S. at Joy of Pilates
4:00pm-6:00pm – Good Neighbor Night at Stones Throw Brewery with $1 donated for every pint sold.
6:30pm-7:45pm – Sound Bath at Firehouse Arts & Events Center, hosted by Kristi Moseley of Mystic Heart
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6th
9:00am-11:00am – Ivy Removal Work Party with Whatcom Million Trees Project
11:30am-12:30pm – Art of Noticing Tree Tour, hosted by Sarah Murphy-Kangas and James Murphy
12:50pm-3:30pm – Ethnobotany Exploration with Jazmen Yoder of Northwest Natura
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 7th
9:00am-10:30am – “Art of Impermanence” Crafting with Nature Workshop by Second Life Artistry
11:00am-12:10pm – Outdoor Yoga with Liza Higbee-Robinson Yoga
1:45pm-4:00pm – “Tour de Trees,” a slow group cycling ride hosted by Fairhaven Bicycles and Walk & Roll Bellingham
4:00pm-6:00pm – Tree Celebration at the Firehouse Arts & Events Center yard with crafts, games, treats, and prizes.
