Sustainable Connections Food Recovery Program is dedicated to making sure good food isn’t going to waste. With the help of their AMAZING volunteers, they transport surplus food to local hunger relief agencies and their Freedge, turning it into nutritious meals for our neighbors. Since its inception in 2017, the Food Recovery Program has diverted 1.2 million pounds of food from landfills and back to community members in need.
