The Whatcom Art Center is holding a “The Wheel of Time: Creating the Tibetan Mandala” workshop on Thursday, April 3rd from 1:15pm-4:45pm.
Artists Jean Kinney and Stephanie Strong will explore the meditative art of mandala creating in this hands-on class. You’ll use a compass and a ruler to construct the foundational geometric structure of a Tibetan mandala. After the framework is in place, you’ll get to personalize your designs with embellishments, colors, and patterns. This will make the mandala a reflection of your own artistic expression.
