The City of Mount Vernon hosts this 2-hour watercolor class, “From Sea to Sky,” on Saturday, January 3rd from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Hillcrest Park.

From the event description:
Capture the mood of the sea in this 2-hour class as you learn wash techniques to create stormy waters, dramatic coastal landscapes, and serene skies. We’ll practice wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, and loaded-brush methods, along with tips for mastering atmospheric perspective. Bring a favorite photo of a coastal scene for inspiration, and watch it come to life in watercolor. Whether you prefer crashing waves or quiet harbors, this class will expand your painting skills and confidence. All materials provided.
