The event states “Hosted by the City of Ferndale, Sakura Matsuri is a free celebratory event with an emphasis for children to explore the beauty of Japanese culture through educational experiential opportunities; origami, ikebana flower arranging, sumi-e inki painting, and more.

Featured presentations include the river Ridge High School Taiko Drum Group from Lacey, WA and a samurai armor wear demonstration by the General Consulate of Japan, Seattle. ”
