Blaine Community Theatre – “Christmas in Oz”

The Blaine Community Theatre is back for Christmas time in Kansas with their production of “Christmas in Oz.” Showing between December 5th-14th at Blaine High School’s Black Box Theatre!
Dorothy feels sad without her friends from Oz at Christmastime. With help from the clever Mr. Tinker, she builds the Gidgety Gadgety Whiz Bang Wish Machine and in a flash of gears and glitter…finds herself back in Oz. Reunited with her friends, they plan the biggest Christmas party the Emerald City has ever seen…with one problem – they promised Santa would be there.
Follow their adventures as they plan the party and have to deal with the new witch, Nefariosa, who is trying to ruin Christmas for everyone.

The Theater Arts Guild presents “Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn: The Musical” at McIntyre Hall on selected dates from December 5th-20th!
You’ll love this heartwarming, toe-tapping production based in the 1940s about Jim Hardy’s tale of leaving the hustle and bustle of show business to enjoy a quiet life on his farmhouse in Connecticut. But…he’s not quite ready for a life without song and dance.
You’ll see them perform over 20 well-known hits from the Irving Berlin catalog in this holiday spectacular!

Mt. Baker High School Holiday Craft Fair

The Mountaineer Band is hosting a Holiday Craft Fair on Saturday, December 13th from 9am-3pm in the MBHS Cafeteria.
Local vendors will be selling their locally made art and goods. Plus, LIVE music from the Mount Baker High School Band throughout the day.
Proceeds benefit the MBHS Band Trip.
“The Nutcracker” in Oak Harbor

The Ballet Slipper Conservatory of Oak Harbor presents “The Nutcracker” on Saturday, December 13th at 2pm and 7pm and Sunday, December 14th at 2pm in the Oak Harbor High School Auditorium.
The Nutcracker is a perfect holiday tradition that will delight and entertain audience members of all ages. Clara is given a Nutcracker at a party from mysterious Drosselmer. A young girl’s enchanted gift leads her on a wonderful journey through the Land of Snow and Kingdom of Sweets in this beautiful classical ballet, danced to Tchaikovsksy’s magnificent score.
The Ballet Slipper Conservatory of Oak Harbor is a non-profit performing arts group. Several months and hundreds of hours of practice are put into The Nutcracker performance. The director, Miss Diane Geragotelis, not only produces and choreographs, but also hand sews every costume. Come join us to share in this production’s special beauty and holiday splendor, featuring the talented dancers of The Ballet Slipper Conservatory.

The Coats Holiday Show is an evening filled with laughter, joy, and love. This fabulous quartet displays an awe-inspiring vocal range, harmonies, and catchy music that even gets Santa dancing! Discover why so many people of all ages make this their annual holiday tradition.
The Blaine High School choir students will also be performing at least one song with the group. The proceeds raised will help the Blaine High School choir students on their spring tour.
