The Birchwood Garden Club’s March Meeting will be on Wednesday, March 5th at 6:15pm at the Hotel Leo on Cornwall Ave. in Bellingham.
This meeting features the one, and only, Ciscoe Morris! His topic will be “Designing the Environmentally Friendly Garden!”
Ciscoe Morris is a household name for many in the Pacific Northwest. A gardening guru with an inimitable personality, his enthusiasm for all growing things and his high energy have elevated him to a uniquely recognizable media personality. He worked for 24 years as a gardener at Seattle University, and for over 20 years he hosted weekly gardening talks on KIRO/KING-TV. He wrote columns for the “Seattle Times/Post Intelligencer” for over 17 years, and has published two books, Ask Ciscoe and Oh Là Là.
With his vast Integrated Pest Management experience and gardening knowledge, this should be a fascinating talk.
