The annual Birch Bay Ring of Fire and Hope is Wednesday, December 31st at 7:00pm SHARP along the shores of Birch Bay from Birch Bay State Park to Birch Bay Village.
Find your spot along the beach and light your flare at 7:00pm to light up Birch Bay like it’s a string of Christmas lights.
A limited number of FREE biodegradable flares will be available on a first come, first served basis. You can pick up ONE flare per family on these dates/times (while supplies last):
- Tuesday, December 30th: 10am – 4pm at the Birch Bay Visitor Center located at 4819 Alderson Rd. #103.
- Wednesday, December 31st: 10am – 4pm at the Birch Bay Visitor Center located at 4819 Alderson Rd. #103.
- Wednesday, December 31st: 4pm – 7pm at Birch Bay Beach Park located at 7930 Birch Bay Drive.
If you’d like to purchase extra flares, you can visit the following local businesses – Pacific Building Center, Bay Center Market, LFS Marine & Outdoor, and West Marine.
PLEASE PROTECT THE BERM! Stay out of fenced areas and use designated access points to protect the young native plants. They’re playing a vital role in preventing erosion, supporting wildlife, and protecting the shoreline!
