The Pickford Film Center presents the Bay Street Cinema on Friday, August 28th, at 7:00pm! This is the Pickford Film Center’s outdoor movie series right outside their flagship cinema.
Bring your chairs and get there early for entertainment, prizes, food and drinks before the film. Films always start at dusk!
On Friday, August 28th, it’s “Sunset Flicks”! From the Pickford Film Center’s website:
“Silent movie shorts with live music performed by members of the Bellingham Symphony Orchestra. See comedy gold with Laurel and Hardy in Big Business (1929), and western drama with the legendary William S. Hart in Bad Buck of Santa Ynez (1915). Plus a Koko the Clown cartoon, stop motion animation by Ladislas Starevich, a French satire, and film of the Seattle waterfront shot in 1897. The live accompaniment will include new scores written especially for the evening’s show by local composers.”
