The Bellingham Arts Academy for Youth presents “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” from June 2-4 at the New Prospect Theatre.
This Tony Award-winning Broadway musical tells the story of a group of six kids hoping to win the spelling championship of a lifetime. As the story unfolds, hilarious and touching stories of their home lives come out while they spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words.
The show features BAAY students, ages 13-17.
Performances are scheduled for:
Friday, June 2 at 7:00 PM
Saturday, June 3 at 2:00 PM & 7:00 PM
Sunday, June 4 at 2:00 PM
