Each weekday morning at 7:40, KAFE This Morning with Dave, Allan & Patrice is giving you a chance to WIN THAT PRIZE!

They’ll play a different game each day:

Monday is “Movie Monday”
Tuesday is “Name That Noise”
Wednesday is “Know the Show…or No!”
Thursday is “Dave’s a Big, Fat Liar”
Friday is “Little Kid or Drunk Adult?”

This week’s winner will win a pair of tickets aboard the Whatcom Museum’s Summertime History Sunset Cruises!
Featuring breathtaking scenery and captivating regional history with local historian Brian Griffin. In partnership with San Juan Cruises, these weekly cruises will run every Tuesday from July 9 through September 10, 6pm– 8pm. Cruises board at 5:45pm.

 


CONTEST RULES

Win That Prize will feature a rotating game each weekday at approximately 7:40am. The winner of each day’s game will win a prize.

On Monday’s, Win That Prize will feature “Movie Monday” as the game of the day. For Movie Monday, Dave, Allan & Patrice will “act” the dialogue from a well-known movie. After their performance, the first person to call in at 360-676-5233 and correctly identify the movie will win that day’s prize. To “Win That Prize” on Movie Monday, the first caller to correctly guess which movie the hosts are acting will win the prize.

On Tuesday’s, “Win That Prize” will feature “Name That Noise.”  The morning show will give a cue to call the studio at 360-676-5233.  Once a caller is on the line, the hosts will each attempt to recreate a randomly drawn noise. The caller will guess what the noises are. To ”Win That Prize” on Tuesday, the caller needs to correctly guess two of three noises being made by the morning show will win.

Wednesday’s featured game will be “Know the Show…Or No!”. To play “…Or No!”, Dave, Allan, and Patrice will give a cue to call at 360-676-5233.  The first caller gets a chance to play.  They will ask if something happened on KAFE This Morning or not.  The listener will have to tell them if it happened or not.  If they get 3 out of 5 correct, they win that day’s prize.  If not, we go on to the next caller. The topics will vary by day. To win the prize for “Know the Show…or No!”, the listener must correctly guess 3 out of 5 answers.

Thursday’s featured game will be “Dave’s a Big, Fat liar”. For “Dave’s a Big, Fat Liar”, Dave, Allan and Patrice will give a cue to call.  The first listener to call in to 360-676-5233 plays the game.  Dave will read a statement and the listener needs to tell him if he’s telling the truth or is a “Big, Fat Liar.”  If they get 2 out of 3 correct, they win.  If not, we move on to the next caller.

Friday’s Featured “Win That Prize” game will be “Little Kid or Drunk Adult?”. For “Little Kid or Drunk Adult?”, the show hosts will play an audio clip of someone explaining an embarrassing situation they were in.  The first caller to correctly identify if it happened when the person was a little kid or drunk adult, wins.  One of the show hosts will know the correct answer and will play an audio clip of the correct answer. If the caller gets it incorrect, we’ll move onto the next caller in the queue until we have a winner.

From August 19, 2024, through August 23, 2024, each winner will win:
-Two tickets aboard the Whatcom Museum’s Summertime History Sunset Cruise.  Winner can choose their cruise between August 20, 2024, through September 10, 2024.  Approximate retail value is $50 per ticket. $100 total approximate prize value, as stated by contest sponsor.

The prize is non-transferrable nor redeemable for cash. Winner is responsible for all taxes (State, Local, Federal).  Prize value is based on retail value, as stated by contest sponsor on their website.

Winners will need to follow all COVID vaccine guidelines and protocols put in place by contest sponsors, local, city, and state officials.  KAFE 104.1 is not responsible for any event being postponed or cancelled.  If a cancellation or postponement occurs, no replacement prize will be offered.

One winner will win each weekday morning at approximately 7:40am.  The winner must have the correct answer(s) to the question to win the prize. If a listener calls in and answers incorrectly or doesn’t get enough answers correct, the next caller in the que will be given the chance to play the game of the day.

If, for any reason, the winner is deemed to be ineligible, it will be disqualified and a new, alternate winner may be drawn.

We will make reasonable efforts to award the prizes within 30 days of winning.  Prizes will be made available at Will Call through the Whatcom Museum.  Winners must provide their name, phone number, and email address.  That information will be given to the Whatcom Museum, who will reach out to the winner to schedule their cruise.

KAFE contests are open to all eligible Washington state residents, age 18 or older, that have not won anything on KAFE in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of KAFE, Saga Broadcasting, LLC dba Cascade Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one-hundred-mile radius of the KAFE main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
