KAFE cares about our community!  The American Cancer Society Relay for Life of North Puget Sound is THIS SATURDAY, June 4th at Blue Fox Drive In in Oak Harbor!

This year’s event theme is “A Night with the Stars!”

It all starts with a walk to honor the memory of those that have fought cancer at the Blue Fox Drive In go kart track from 11am-4pm.  There will also be opportunities to purchase luminaria, silent auction items, concessions, and more.

At 7pm, the 2nd Annual Relay for Life Go Kart Challenge happens on the track.  Then, the movie “Top Gun: Maverick” plays at dusk.  During the intermission between the two movies of the double feature, there will be a luminaria ceremony and slide show honoring the memory of those lost to cancer.  Following the ceremony will be the second movie, “The Lost City.”

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS (subject to change)
11 am – 4 pm Go Kart track open for walking
12 pm Concessions and Arcade open
1 pm Opening Ceremony at Go Kart track; Cancer Survivor Lap
1-6 pm Luminaria sales
1-8 pm Silent Auction open (Sponsored by CHH Warriors)
1-8 pm Scavenger Hunt (look on back for list of items)
3 pm regular paid admission begins
4 pm Go Karts available for use on track
7:00 pm Second Annual RFL Go Kart Challenge at track
Dusk (approximately 9:30 pm) “Top Gun Maverick”
About 10:30 pm Intermission and Luminaria Ceremony
As the slide show honoring those who have had cancer plays on the big screen, we invite you to join us in walking a lap on the Go Kart track in honor of those you have known with cancer.
About 11 pm “Lost City”
