“Fill the Bus” with the Bellingham Bells

KAFE 104.1 cares about our community! KAFE and the Bellingham Bells are fighting back against hunger! Join the Bells along with the Bellingham Whatcom County Tourism Board and Lily Coaches in a one-day food drive on Saturday, August 15th from 10am – 1pm in the Civic Field parking lot to help “Fill the Bus”!

All donations will benefit the Bellingham Food Bank, these are the items they are requesting:

  • Canned beans
  • Canned tuna/chicken/other meat
  • Canned soups & stews
  • Dry pasta (under 2 lb containers)
  • Dry rice (under 2 lb containers)
  • Peanut butter/nut butters (not in glass)
  • Baby diapers, in any size package and in any size diaper

In lieu of food donations, cash donations will also be accepted. All donors will receive 2 general admission vouchers for the 2021 Bellingham Bells season.

2-time NASCAR champ Kyle Busch dies at 41 after being hospitalized with a ‘severe illness’

Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup Series champion who won more races than anyone across NASCAR's three national series, has died. He was 41. The Busch Family, Richard Childress Racing and NASCAR issued a joint statement Thursday saying Busch died after being hospitalized. No cause of death was given.
