My Weekend in 5 Photos

My Weekend in 5 Photos

For the past couple weeks, we’ve thought it would be fun to share our weekends in a series of photos.  It was an exercise that made me feel kind of…boring.  Especially compared to Dave and Mandy.  You know what they say…be careful what you wish for.

Any weekend in February where I need to dig out my sunglasses to drive is a good weekend.  I wish I remembered where I put my “good” sunglasses?  I went with the plastic freebies I got from an event last summer.

We decided to take advantage of the sunshine by heading outside to play.  We opened the backdoor and I promptly found several large branches that the wind wanted me to move.  Yikes!

Next up was a drive near Lynden to run some errands.  Plus, I was curious to see the floodwaters on Sunday.  This is a picture of the Nooksack River…which should be on the other side of that levee.

For some reason, the studio computer decided to think it was Thursday, December 31, 2009!  An hour before the Super Bowl was starting.  So, a drive up to the station made it a delayed kickoff in my house.

We were home in time for the halftime show…and dancing!!!
