A PNW New Year’s Day tradition tries to tackle new heights! KAFE 104.1 and the Birch Bay Chamber of Commerce invite you to help set a NEW Guiness World Record for the LARGEST Polar Bear Dip in the world!!!

Register now to be counted among the thousands that will try to break the record of ~~2,461 partipants~~ 3,134 participants on January 1st, 2026, on the Birch Bay shoreline.
A group in Norway just set a NEW record…which means we need a few extra plungers!

The fun starts at 8am with games, activities, and music. At 12pm, take to the waters of Birch Bay, where everyone needs to be waist-deep for 60 seconds for the record attempt to count. Afterwards, dry off and celebrate with music and refreshments during a party throughout Birch Bay!
