Get ready for a day of farm-tastic fun at the Whatcom County Farm Tour! Saturday, September 13th from 10:00am-4:00pm!

Discover where the food on your plate comes from with demonstrations and activities at FIFTEEN family farms around Whatcom County.  Each farm has something unique to offer to help you learn about how important these farms are to our lives.

Plus, Allan Fee from KAFE This Morning with Dave, Allan & Patrice will be broadcasting from several of the farms on the tour between 11am-2pm!

It’s all a part of Eat Local Month…presented by Sustainable Connections!  Not only is the Whatcom Farm Tour part of Eat Local Month, but so is the Sandwich Showdown!  Several area restaurants are using local ingredients to create some of the most amazing sandwiches you can eat.  Try them and vote for your favorite to crown a winner!
