CONTEST RULES

Each weekday afternoon between 5:00pm-6:00pm, KAFE 104.1 staff will broadcast a cue to call the KAFE 104.1 Studio.  Once the cue is broadcast, caller ten at (360) 676-5233 will win two tickets to “Step Afrika!” on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at the Mount Baker Theatre, 104 N. Commercial Ave. in Bellingham, WA.  Each ticket is valued at $29.75.  Total prize value $59.50, based on retail value stated by the contest sponsor.

Winners will be chosen at the sole discretion of KAFE. You may only enter one time. Submitting more than one entry per person will invalidate all entries by that contestant. Any entry submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s cell phone, account, or name will be disqualified and ineligible to claim any prize.  Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed by using same, multiple/different cell phones, identities, or any other methods void that participant’s entries and that participant may be disqualified. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted.  Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void.

No purchase necessary. KAFE’s Sole responsibility will be to award the prize. KAFE will have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner, for any reason, cannot or decides not to use any of the prizes. Winners will be responsible for all federal and state taxes, and any fees and incidentals. Incidentals include but are not limited to unpaid room service charges, phone charges, movies, etc. This, and all other expenses will be the responsibility of the winner.  Prizes are not transferrable or redeemable for cash.

KAFE contests are open to all eligible Washington state residents, age 18 or older, that have not won anything on KAFE in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of KAFE, Saga Broadcasting, LLC dba Cascade Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the KAFE main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

We will make reasonable efforts to award the prize on March 19, 2024.  Winners will need to provide their name, phone number, and email address to be given to the Mount Baker Theatre to reserve their tickets at will call the night of the show.  Winners will need to present ID at Mount Baker Theatre on March 19, 2024, to claim their tickets.
