We had so much fun…we’re doing it again!  KAFE 104.1 is taking off on an adventure to explore the rich history of music on the KAFE Music Cities Tour!  March 3rd-10th with Bellair Tours & Adventures!

This group will discover the birthplace of jazz and take a cooking class in New Orleans.  Walk in the footsteps of the King of Rock & Roll in Memphis!  Experience the famed Music Row and Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville!

SUNDAY MARCH 3, 2024
DAY 1: FLIGHT – ARRIVE NEW ORLEANS
Today arrive in the “Jazz Capital of the World,” New Orleans for a three night stay in the exciting French Quarter. Tonight is at leisure to explore New Orleans on your own. Be sure to enjoy the “The Quarter” filled with fabulous jazz clubs.

MONDAY MARCH 4, 2024
DAY 2: NEW ORLEANS – FRENCH QUARTER
This morning enjoy a French Quarter Walking Tour featuring the St. Louis Cathedral with adjoining Cabildo and rectory, Bourbon Street, Pirates Alley and the French Marketplace. Next visit the famous Café du Monde to enjoy café au lait and beignets. The rest of the afternoon and evening are at your leisure. Tonight enjoy a fabulous dinner on your own at one of the French Quarter’s famous restaurants.

TUESDAY MARCH 5, 2023
DAY 3: NEW ORLEANS CITY TOUR
Today enjoy a New Orleans City Tour. Visit the Garden District which features one of the best-preserved collections of historic southern mansions in the United States. Visit the Longue Vue Gardens & House, a National Historic Landmark. The everchanging gardens provide an inspiring destination year-round to learn about
native plants and flowers. Also stop to view an Above Ground Cemetery which are
both historic & hauntingly beautiful. This afternoon an optional excursion will be
available to the Oak Alley Plantation, one of the state’s most visited antebellum homes. This evening enjoy the dinner experience at the famous New Orleans School of Cooking.

WEDNESDAY MARCH 6, 2024
DAY 4: NEW ORLEANS – MEMPHIS
Travel north and arrive in Memphis, Tennessee for a 2-night stay. Located on the banks of the mighty Mississippi River, Memphis is a music capital known as the birthplace of Blues, Rock n Roll and Soul. The evening is at leisure to enjoy dinner on
your own.

THURSDAY MARCH 7, 2024
DAY 5: MEMPHIS – GRACELAND
This morning enjoy a tour of Elvis Presley’s famous Graceland, a 14-acre estate, museum and entertainment complex. See Elvis’ original business office, trophy
building and meditation gardens where the ‘King’ is laid to rest. Later enjoy a
Memphis City Tour to learn more about this great southern city. Travel along the Mississippi River, see Victorian homes and cultural landmarks like the Pyramid
Arena. This afternoon visit the National Civil Rights Museum, an experience that covers centuries of history. The visit begins at the original Lorraine Motel, the site where Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated. Later visit the famous Sun Studios for a tour. Tonight, visit action-packed Beale Street, filled with restaurants, shops and blues clubs including BB King’s Blues Cafe. Enjoy dinner at a popular local restaurant on Beale Street.

FRIDAY MARCH 8, 2024
DAY 6: MEMPHIS – NASHVILLE
Today travel through central Tennessee to Nashville. Rolling terrain, magnificent mansions and historic sights decorate the countryside as your route brings you to Music City USA. Arrive at the amazing and renovated Gaylord Opryland Resort to begin a two-night stay. The resort complex features three interior gardens under glass roofs including waterfalls, a river and lake system with passenger-carrying flatboats plus a variety of restaurants, lounges and shops. This evening enjoy a performance of the famous Grand Ole Opry Show, a Nashville highlight.

SATURDAY MARCH 9, 2024
DAY 7: NASHVILLE
Enjoy a Nashville City Tour to see the Parthenon (replica), Old Ryman Auditorium, the State Capitol and famous Music Row. Later visit the Country Music Hall of Fame to see how country music has evolved through the past 70 years. The Hall of Fame features memorabilia and displays in a museum setting. Tonight’s Farewell Dinner is at the famous Nashville Nightlife Dinner Theatre,where you will experience a celebration of Country Music from both past and present.
