KAFE cares about our community!  Help kids start the school year with everything they need to be successful!  The Opportunity Council Backpack Drive is Wednesday, August 24th from 10am-6pm at Fred Meyer on Lakeway Drive in Bellingham!

Every child and any age needs a backpack.  Donate a new backpack, or make a monetary donation, and Blue Skies for Children will help distribute those backpacks to kids in Whatcom County.  The Opportunity Council will be working with school districts to distribute backpacks in Island County.

You can donate NOW through the Opportunity Council’s website or at their Island County office at 231 SE Barrington Ave., Suite 100 in Oak Harbor.  OR…donate at the Backpack Drive at Fred Meyer on Lakeway Drive in Bellingham on August 24th!
