Spend this week’s KAFE Weekend Getaway exploring historic Fairhaven with an overnight stay at the Fairhaven Village Inn!  They’re within steps of the cobblestone streets, local shops, and art galleries that make Fairhaven one of the most unique areas in the Pacific Northwest!

After your day exploring, enjoy dinner for two at Galloway’s Cocktail Bar! They offer contemporary cuisine that pairs well with their hand-crafted cocktail menu, or choose from their curated wine and beer list!

Are you ready to explore the historic streets of Fairhaven? Surrounded by unique shops, exquisite dining and bayside trails, Fairhaven Village Inn is the perfect spot for a getaway! Fairhaven is also a year-round stop for the Alaska State Ferry and departure point for charters to the San Juan islands!


CONTEST RULES

To enter, listeners may log onto www.KAFE.com between 12:00am June 17, 2022 through 11:59pm June 19, 2022, and complete a Weekend Getaway entry form.  All entries must include first and last name, phone number, email address, date of birth, and a photo showing the entrant’s “Weekend in a Picture.”  The picture can be of anything the entrant is doing throughout the weekend.

Entrants must include all required registration information to register and agree to terms for Aptivada. One entry per person.

At approximately 8:30am on Monday, June 20, 2022, one winner will be randomly drawn on Monday, June 20, 2022.  The winner’s name will be announced on KAFE 104.1 at approximately 8:45am on Monday, June 20, 2022.  The winner will also be notified by telephone on Monday, June 20, 2022.  If, for any reason, the winning entry is found to be ineligible, it will be disqualified and a new, alternate winner may be drawn.

The winner will receive a Weekend Getaway package that includes:

-An overnight stay at Fairhaven Village Inn, 1200 10th Street in Bellingham, WA.  (Value: $350)
-Dinner for two at Galloway’s Cocktail Bar, 1200 10th Street in Bellingham, WA.  (Value: $50)

Total prize value is $400.  Prize values are based on retail value, as stated by contest sponsors.  Winner is responsible for all local, state, and federal taxes.  Prize is not transferrable and not redeemable for cash.

The winner will receive a certificate for their stay at the hotel. The prize is subject to blackout dates set by the hotel. KAFE has no control or say in the set blackout dates.

Winner must follow all COVID vaccine protocols put in place by contest sponsors, local, state, and federal authorities.  Winners must adhere to any blackout dates on the prize at the contest sponsors’ discretion.

KAFE contests are open to all eligible Washington state residents, age 18 or older, that have not won anything on KAFE in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of KAFE, Saga Broadcasting, LLC dba Cascade Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the KAFE main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

Winners will be chosen in the sole discretion of KAFE. Submitting more than one entry per person will invalidate all entries by that contestant. Any entry submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s email address or name will be disqualified and ineligible to claim any prize. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed by using same, multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods void that participant’s entries and that participant may be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to any on-line registration, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these Official Rules. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void.

Entries containing inappropriate photos or music will be disqualified. Any photograph submitted to KAFE will become the property of KAFE and may be used in any manner it feels appropriate in the future. KAFE has the final say of what content is appropriate for the website. no use of indecent or obscene material, no content or material that is illegal, contains nudity or is sexually explicit, or by law, obscene, profane or pornographic is permitted. By entering this contest you are verifying that you are the owner and producer of the submitted material and that no third party ownership rights exist to the photo submitted. Must be 18 years or older to enter.

Images submitted must be owned by the person submitting the entry. No one else may have, or can claim, legal rights to the image. If there is a “minor” (a child or person under the age of 18) in this image, the entrant must certify that he or she is the parent or legal guardian of the minor (child or children) in the image. Any misrepresentation of ownership of the submitted image, or legal guardianship of the minor in the submitted image (if any), will be grounds for disqualification of the contest and potentially all future contests or promotions with Cascade Radio Group. Entries containing inappropriate images will be disqualified. Cascade Radio Group has final say of what content is appropriate for the website and has absolute discretion over the eligibility of an image entry. No indecent or obscene material, no content or material that is illegal, no material containing nudity or is sexually explicit, or by law, obscene profane or pornographic is permitted. By entering this contest, you are verifying that you are the owner and producer of the submitted material and that no third-party ownership rights exist to the image. If the image contains people, by submitting such image you agree to have the rights necessary to consent or submit on behalf of those in the image.

No purchase necessary. KAFE’s Sole responsibility will be to award the prize. KAFE will have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner, for any reason, cannot or decides not to use any of the prizes.

We will make reasonable efforts to award the prizes within 30 days after winning.
