KAFE 104.1 welcomes “A Conversation with Amy Tan” to the Mount Baker Theatre on Sunday, May 8th!  Enjoy a Mother’s Day conversation with the New York Times best-selling author as she shares her story of how she became an author of favorites like “The Bonesetter’s Daughter,” “The Valley of Amazement,” and “The Joy Luck Club.”

CONTEST RULES

To enter, complete an online entry form at www.KAFE.com between 12:00am Monday, April, 18 2022 through 11:59 Sunday, May 1, 2022.  Entrants must include all required registration information and agree to Aptivada terms and conditions.  One entry per person.  All entries must be submitted between 12:00am April 18, 2022 through 11:59pm May 1, 2022.

At approximately 8:00am on Monday, May 2, 2022, five winners will be randomly drawn, each winner to receive two tickets to “A Conversation with Amy Tan” on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Mount Baker Theatre, 104 N. Commercial St. in Bellingham, WA.  Retail value is $29.50 per ticket, $49 per pair, as stated by Mount Baker Theatre’s website.

If, for any reason, a drawn entry is found to be ineligible, it will be disqualified and a new, alternate winner may be randomly drawn.

Winners will need to follow all COVID vaccine guidelines and protocols put in place by Mount Baker Theatre, Amy Tan, local, city, and state officials.  Prizes are non-transferrable and not redeemable cash.  Prize winner is responsible for all local, state, and federal taxes.

KAFE contests are open to all eligible Washington state residents, age 18 or older, that have not won anything on KAFE in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of KAFE, Saga Broadcasting, LLC dba Cascade Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the KAFE main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

Tickets will be made available at will call prior to the show at the Mount Baker Theatre on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at 3:00pm.  Winners must provide first and last names, phone number, and email address to be given to Mount Baker Theatre box office for identification and contact tracing purposes.
