Relay for Life of Whatcom County

Join KAFE 104.1 in the fight against cancer at the Relay for Life of Whatcom County July 14th & 15th in downtown Bellingham!  We will celebrate those that have won their battles, remember those that have lost their battles, and fight back against a disease that has touched everyone.

FUNDRAISERS
Teams have a ton of different fundraisers before and during Relay.  Funds raised are donated by that team during the Relay for Life.

START OR JOIN A TEAM
Get your family, friends, and coworkers together to raise money.  Many teams relay in honor of a loved one that has battled cancer.  Other teams just love to be part of the fun.  Teams are given a campsite at the Relay.  You can camp out for the duration of the event or host a variety of fundraisers from your site.  CLICK HERE TO REGISTER!

REGISTER AS AN INDIVIDUAL
You don’t have to be on a team to participate.  You are more than welcome to register as an individual and come walk at the event by yourself, or with your family and friends.  CLICK HERE TO REGISTER!

LUMINARIA BAGS
Luminaria bags are white paper bags with a loved one’s name on it.  You can purchase them to celebrate someone that has beaten cancer, for the fight of someone battling cancer, or in honor of someone that has lost their battle with cancer.  These bags are lined around the track with a candle inside each one.  At 11:00pm, a ceremony is held to recognize all of the luminaria.  Then, the candles are lit in each bag so that their light can guide the walkers all night.  Suggested donation per luminaria is $5.  CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE A LUMINARIA!

DONATE
You don’t have to be at the event to make a donation.  You can donate to this year’s Relay for Life of Whatcom County here.
