Voters have until Nov. 2 to register or pick up a new ballot

WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The Whatcom County Auditor’s Office is reminding voters to come in person and organize their ballot information before election day.

County Auditor Stacy Henthorn has announced that the Whatcom County Auditor’s Office will be open on Saturday, Nov. 2.  The office will be open from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. for individuals to go in to register, update their address, get a ballot if they never received one or receive a replacement ballot if theirs was lost or damaged.

Voters are also encouraged to come in to observe ballot processing in the Election Center, Ste. B03.

There are 23 official ballot drop boxes located throughout Whatcom County. Individuals waiting until the week or day of must have their ballot turned in by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.

Ballots returned by mail must be postmarked by election day on Nov. 5 in order to be counted.
