BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Suspects are being sought after several Bellingham businesses were targeted by vandals late last week.
Yeager’s Sporting Goods owner Kristin Uhrig told My Bellingham Now that at least seven of their store’s front windows were significantly damaged on the evening of Nov. 1.
She said that sometime around 8 p.m., three men were seen on security footage using what appeared to be acid or acid pens to carve into the glass. It’s unclear if the suspects were attempting to write specific messages on the windows.
Uhrig adds that several other businesses near them were also vandalized, including Cruisin’ Coffee’s Headquarters and Cornerstone Prosthetics on Northwest Avenue. She says they’re currently estimating at least $21,000 in total repair costs.
The three suspects are all white adult males.
One has a slim build, shoulder length blond hair and was wearing a navy jacket, grey pants and a black cap. Another has a stocky build, wearing grey sweatpants, grey and black hoodie with a graphic design on the chest and a black jacket. The third has a medium build and wore baggy blue jeans and a burgundy hoodie.
