BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The search for a missing Bellingham teen has come to a tragic end.
Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office says that search and rescue crews found the body of 18-year-old Matthew Sanders near a trail on Monday, Oct. 7.
Sanders was last seen leaving a home on Thursday, Oct. 3, and was reported missing by his family on Saturday, Oct. 5.
The Sheriff’s Office thanked community members for their support and are asking people to respect the family’s privacy.
