Reports show Whatcom County gas prices have dropped in the last year

WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – New reports show gas is cheaper than it was a year ago.

AAA reports Whatcom County currently has an average gas price of about $3.83, similar to Bellingham. Bellingham saw a drop in prices of about 20 cents over the course of the last year.

GasBuddy meanwhile reports that Washington gas prices fell approximately 34 cents in the last year.

The current average price of gas in the state is $3.91 per gallon. That’s up compared to the national average price of $2.97 per gallon.

The national average price also dropped, falling nearly 18 cents in the past year.
