Bellingham Police search for wanted man who escaped from local hospital

BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The Bellingham Police Department (BPD) is asking for help in finding man who is wanted for a several charges.

BPD said in a statement online that they are looking for Jason John who left PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10.

John is described as 5’11”, 185 lbs., and with various facial tattoos including a vertical red line that intersects his right eye.

BPD has probable cause to arrest John for attempting to elude police, a violation of a domestic violence order and taking a motor vehicle without permission.

He was last seen at PeaceHealth and may be in the Cornwall area.

Members of the public are asked to call 911 if they have any information regarding his whereabouts.
