Aerosmith remixes ‘Dream On’ to honor Boston Marathon victims

BOSTON (AP) — You have probably heard the Aerosmith song “Dream On” before. But it’s getting a makeover to honor victims of last year’s Boston Marathon bombings.

Steven Tyler and Joe Perry have laid down a new arrangement of the song — joined by a children’s chorus.

Aerosmith has Boston roots — and the group performed their signature hit at the Boston Strong benefit concert last May.

The new version of the song will air tomorrow on an ESPN special that deals with the attack, which killed three people.
