BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A woman was found dead in the 1300 block of Bakerview on Tuesday.
Police Lieutenant Don Almer says the fire department responded first to a 911 call from a citizen followed by police officers.
He says the woman was found in an area that homeless people frequent and there were no obvious signs of trauma.
The medical examiner is working to identify the woman and determine a cause of death.
