Manziel inks endorsment with Nike

According to ESPN.com the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner, Johnny Manziel, has signed a multi-year contract with the world’s largest shoe and apparel brand – Nike. Although the financial terms were not disclosed, sources have told ESPN.com it will be the highest price paid for a rookie in this years class.

Many brands, including Adidas, Under Armour and New Balance’s Warrior submitted bids for the former Texas A&M quarterback it was Nike winning the right to shoe his feet and use Manziel in marketing campaigns.

Nike has the rights to many NFL QB’s, including Seahawks signal caller Russell Wilson, Saints quarterback Drew Brees, and Packer Aaron Rodgers.
