Local businesses taking donations for Oso relief

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Fundraisers and donation drives are being held around Whatcom County today to help mudslide victims and rescue crews.

Becky Carr, owner of the Ferndale Mini mart on Main Street, says they’ll be collecting items for people displaced by the slide.

You can donate anytime through April 13.

Hardware Sales in Bellingham is also holding a special sale on tools that people can donate to help the rescue crews.

It’s from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. today.

Kulshan Brewing Company in Bellingham is also holding a fundraiser with members of the Snohomish Helicopter Rescue Team from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
