Blue Skies for Children collecting backpacks

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Blue Skies for Children is collecting backpacks for homeless and low-income children for back to school.

Executive Julie Guay says $20 to $60 for one backpack can be expensive for struggling families.

 

People can drop off backpacks at Culinary Creations in Fairhaven or take them directly to Blue Skies for Children on Cedarwood Avenue.

They also accept cash donations.
