BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Bellingham ranks in the top ten of a new study on work-life balance.

Nerdwallet.com took 2012 U.S. census data and put together a list of cities with the best to worst work-life balance.

The study looked at commute times, rent, weekly hours worked, and the average annual full-time earnings.

Bellingham received a score that earned it the number nine spot, less than a point behind Eugene, Oregon.

Bloomington, Indiana topped the list at number one.
