12th Man Rally a huge success

KPUG and our other Cascade Radio Group stations organized a “12th Man Rally” held today at Civic Stadium. Seattle Seahawks fans in Bellingham and Whatcom County gathered at noon Friday at Civic Stadium to form a big 12th man tribute.

The Cascade Radio Group estimates between 1,500 and 2,000 fans joined together in their Seahawks Gear for “Blue Friday” and to form a giant 12 on the Civic Field. A photo of the complete group of fans was taken at 12:12pm. In attendence rallying the crowd of fans was the original #12 for the Seahawks, quarterback Sam Adkins.

On their way out of the stadium participants received a bag of Skittles, in honor of running back Marshawn Lynch. CRG ran out of the 700 bags of Skittles within 5 minutes.
