Hey! I’m Mandy–and I’m so lucky I get to hang out with you weekdays from 5:30am-10am on KAFE 104.1.

Originally from Poulsbo, I arrived in Bellingham as a fresh-faced Western student…and then never left! I started at KAFE as an intern and worked my way up behind the scenes to join the KAFE morning show ‘Dave & Mandy in the Morning’ in 2012.

Serving others makes me tick and I’m drawn towards non-profit organizations that encourage access and inclusion for ALL. In fact, I love that I get to use my microphone to promote such amazing causes in our community.  I also love to promote fun things to do—because who doesn’t love to have fun!? (Check out my To Do List to see what I mean!)

I’m the singleton of the KAFE crew, so on weekends you can usually find me laughing at a happy hour somewhere with my girlfriends (undoubtedly solving all the world’s problems over wine!), binge watching my latest Netflix obsession, or eating at a food truck parked outside a brewery.  If you see me around town, please say hi!

-Mandy

(P.S.  And in case you do see me around town, here are some pics from the past year so you know it’s me!  The one above is a little dated–like 8 years old!  Thanks for taking the time to get to know me here…and weekdays 5:30am-10am on KAFE 104.1!)

Takeaways from Trump’s address: Sales mode on economy, heavy on patriotism, dark turn on Democrats

President Donald Trump started in sales mode, using his State of the Union address to deliver an upbeat vision of the U.S. economy. But that portrayal collides with the sentiment of Americans who remain anxious about their finances and feel they haven't benefited from Trump's policies.
