NFL stars play flag football in Ferndale

Wanna see Michael Koenen, Jake Locker and other NFL players play flag football with some local high school standouts?

Several NFL pros will join Whatcom County high school all stars for a special flag football game to raise food and cash donations for Whatcom County food banks.  And you can be part of the fun!

Whatcom County’s own Michael Koenen, punter and kicker from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (#9), and Jake Locker, Tennesse Titans Quarterback (#10) team up, along with a few of their pro football friends, for the inaugural Friday Night Lights Flag Football Game.

Gates open at 6:30pm on Friday, June 28th, at Ferndale High School.

Admission is just $3 or two cans of food per person.

And… there are still some openings for football camp on Saturday!  As of Tuesday morning, there were 75 spots left for kids who were in 6th, 7th or 8th grade last year.  Camp is free – just click here to sign up!
