My Dad called me a while back, and invited me to join him at an “indoor skydiving” place in Seattle. Um… okay! It ain’t cheap, but we indulged and jumped into the giant wind tunnel.
It’s definitely a unique experience and a lot of fun. We beginners struggled a bit just to stay stable but when you watch the guides do it it’s obvious that once you get some time in you can do some pretty amazing stuff in there.
They sent us home with a DVD which I edited down to a fairly short video. The first half is all me trying to figure it out. The second half (starting at about 2:12) is the guide showing off. It’s pretty amazing. Here’s the video.
They say kids as young as THREE can do it! Big thanks to the crew, who were friendly, professional and lots of fun!
