Anna Schaad Dream within a Dream
Back by popular demand, experience violinist/composer Anna Schaad's new album in two multimedia concerts! Schaad's new music combines lush, down-tempo grooves, nature sounds, and field recordings from around the world with her enigmatic "talking fiddle." Animal Story Time, with Special Guest Renay Daniels, Author of Ten Little Bulldogs
Village Books will offer a special Saturday story time for 2 1/2 - 5-year-old kids and the adults in their lives in our Readings Gallery at 11am. Bring your favorite small, stuffed animal and enjoy animal stories read by Barbara Snow, longtime parent and childhood education director. Special guest, Renay Daniels, will read her new book, Ten Little Bulldogs.
4th Annual Gardenview Holiday Bazaar
This fun event includes a variety of vendors offering all kinds of wonderful gift ideas! There will be a silent auction featuring owner’s box Mariners tickets, a rafting trip and more! Ugandan Orphans Choir
The Ugandan Orphans Choir is sponsored by a local organization called Childcare Worldwide. All of the boys and girls in the choir are orphaned and will entertain you with singing, dancing and a variety of native instruments. These precious children share the authenticity of Africa and their hope for other orphaned children. The good news is that all of these children were rescued through child sponsorship and now they help rescue others. Childcare is provided. The performance is at 6:30 at First Presbyterian Church in Bellingham. Call 734-5510 for more information. The event is free, donations are encouraged.

There will be over 30 groups passing out information; there will be a silent auction and holiday gifts for sale. Participants include The Unitarian Church, Sean Humphrey House Books to Prisoners, Assumption Church, The Islamic Society, Dharma Buddhist Center, St. James Presbyterian Church, the Slum Doctor program and more.

Allied Arts of Whatcom County presents its 30th annual Holiday Festival of the Arts again this year, opening today at a new location, the former Cascade Furniture building in Squalicum Corporate Park, 3548 Meridian Street. Nearly 100 local artisans and craftspeople will sell their paintings, photography, ceramics, jewelry, special foods and more from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays, through Dec. 24. Weekends are packed with live music performances, artist demonstrations and kids' art activities.
