Corn Maze

You know fall is just around the corner when the Corn Maze opens!!  This maze is located just south of Lynden on Hannegan Road.  The maze will be open weekends through September from 6-10pm on Friday, 2-10pm on Saturdays and 2-6pm on Sunday.  $4 students through 6th grade; $6 for adults and kids 7th grade and up.  Proceeds from the maze go to the Lynden FFA.  Call 354-4401 for more information.


Push Kart Race

The Lynden Pioneer Museum's 8th annual Lynde 500 Push-Kart Race kicks up some dust at 11am on Monday (Labor Day), on Front Street.  There are two divisions, ages 15 and older, and a youth division for kids 12 to 14.  Proceeds benefit the musuem.  For more information call 360-354-3675.


Teen Art Party!

The Center for Expressive Arts in Bellingham is kicking off the Fall season with a big Teen Art Night event! There will be music, dancing, snacks, and art making and it is sure to be an exciting night. This is a perfect chance for newcomers to check out the center and see what Teen Art Nights are all about. The event is from 6-9pm Thursday, September 2. The Center is located at 1317 Commercial Street; cost: $10. For more information call 671-5355


Bellingham Library Book Sale

The Friends of the Bellingham Public Library announce their September Book Sale. The sale runs through Saturday, September 4. Thousands of titles in all genres and an extensive media selection will be for sale downstairs in the main library at 210 Central Ave. in Bellingham.


Upfront Theatre's "Heroes of Sky City"

Set in the fictional metropolis, Sky City, The Upfront's improvisers with help from it's citizens (the audience) will create a superhero show complete with super villains, special powers and of course, no script. This high energy, classic superhero show will follow one super villain's rise to infamy and the superhero attempting to foil the villain's evil plot and save the citizens of Sky City. Come witness the valor, chaos and cheesy one-liners that will have you laughing out of your chair. The show is Friday, September 3 at 9pm. $10 Gen/$8 students. Call 733-8855 for more information.


Model Boats

The Bellingham International Maritime Museum hosts a remote control and scale-model boat show.  You can display your boat or enjoy other people's models.  Experts will be on hand to award kids a "captain's certificate" after completing a model boat steering course!  The event is Saturday and Sunday, September 4-5.  For more information call 360-592-4112.


Street Cirque

The Bellingham Circus Guild will be performing  on the sidewalk from 8-9pm Friday in front of Casa Que Pasa, 1415 Railroad.  The event is an all ages collaborative show featuring six local artists.  This   Donations are encouraged.

Teen Wii Party

The event is each Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Ferndale Public Library Middle School and High School aged only! Snacks provided. The event is free.

Ferndale Farmers Market!

The Ferndale Farmers Market is open on Saturdays in their usual location at The Centennial Riverwalk on Main Street in Ferndale. The market opens at 9am every Saturday through October.


Bellingham Farmers Market
