HOW TO ENTER/PARTICIPATE:
To enter, text “SCOTTY” and the song you want to request to 77000.  Entries limited to once per day.  U.S. Carriers only.  All texts must include a song request.

ENTRY DEADLINE:
Listeners will be given a cue to text via broadcast at approximately 4:45pm each weekday from February 17, 2014 through February 21, 2014.

WHEN PRIZES CAN BE WON:
A cue to text will be broadcast on KAFE at approximately 4:45pm. Once the 7th text request is through, the contest is over.

EXTENT/NATURE/VALUE OF PRIZES:
Each person will win two tickets to see Lionel Richie at KeyArena on May 30, 2014.  Total value is $198.

BASIS FOR VALUATION OF PRIZES:
Prize value based on retail value of tickets, as stated by Live Nation.

TIME/MEANS OF SELECTION OF WINNERS:
Each weekday from February 17th-21st, 2014, we’ll give a cue to text their request at approximately 4:45pm. The seventh text request through will win.  If the text is found to be ineligible, it will be disqualified and the next text request received will be selected.  Winner will be notified by telephone.

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS:
KAFE contests are open to all eligible U.S. Citizens, residing in Washington state, age 21 or older that have not won anything on(KAFE in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of KAFE, Cascade Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the KAFE main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

WHEN PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED:
We will make reasonable efforts to award prizes within 30 days after winning.

Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band was a paean to LSD because of the initials in the title, but it was actually based on a drawing that John Lennon's young son Julian brought home from school. He told his father the drawing was of Lucy in the sky with diamonds. Lucy Vodden, now living in Surrey just outside of London _ drifted apart after schoolyard days, but they have gotten back in touch as Lennon has tried to help Vodden cope with Lupus, a life-threatening disease.
